BC Conservation have been catching illegal fishing activities throughout the summer.
They gave out 36 charges and 19 warnings over the long weekend, explains Deputy Chief Chris Doyle.
“That same weekend in the Skeena region, COs conducted patrols and road checks in association to angling and the unauthorized harvesting of wild steel-head on the Skeena River.”
They checked 525 vehicles, finding 3 wild steel-head among other fish.
