Skeena region conservation officers laid 67 charges and 19 warnings in 7 days during the full moose open hunting season

charges ranged from loaded firearms in vehicles, hunting during closed seasons, angeling violations and open alcohol in vehicles

Deputy Chief Chris Doyle of the Conservation Officer Service says investigations into illegal kills are ongoing.

“One moose and one deer were seized. Six investigations are still ongoing into the illegal killing of moose and deer in that area,” says Doyle.
