A colder winter by Monday with arctic air on its way in the Bulkley Valley

Get ready for winter with a cold front expected over the weekend according to Environment Canada.

Meteorologist Ross Macdonald says we’re going to see the first penetration of arctic air through BC with over night lows of minus 10 by Sunday night.

He says winter will be colder than last year with neutral conditions.

However, December is expected to be 3.5 degrees warmer than normal in most of the Province.

November also had above normal temperatures in the The Bulkley Valley.
