The Air Quality Advisory in Smithers has ended allowing the use of wood stoves inside town limits.
During advisories, wood stove burning is restricted due to a town bylaw, unless the stove is the home’s sole source of heat.
The town has agreed to partner with Northern Health and the Ministry of the Environment on releasing the advisories.
