The issue of signs in town are being discussed at Smithers Council again.
Council will be looking at some recommendations from Hwy 16 businesses about temporary signs.
Some recommendations are calling for a little more de-regulation of the sign bylaw and needed permits for banner signs.
The town wants to make sure elements of the alpine theme are also represented.
Council will also look at the third reading of a water restriction bylaw.
The meeting is tomorrow night at 6:30 at the council chambers.

Telkwa Council meets tonight at 7.
They’ll look at closing the all-weather soccer field in the village until June of next year.
Council will also look at changes to the zoning bylaw to allow the use of open view wildlife fencing.
