BC Hydro has undergone a changing of the guard in terms of its leadership role.
Jessica McDonald has been terminated as the power company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and Deputy CEO Chris O’Riley has been named as the new President.
In a statement, the board of directors made this decision and express their gratitude to McDonald and her service.
The termination comes days after the new NDP government announced Kenneth Peterson as Chairman for the Crown utility.
Premier John Horgan has said he’ll refer BC Hydro’s Site C dam project to the province’s Utilities Commission.
So long and thank you @bchydro. It’s been an honour working amongst you for the last 3yrs. Keep flying. #talented pic.twitter.com/TFSL7k8JuY
