Rainy Weather won’t intrupt Farmers’ Market

Even with the recent wet weather, the Bulkley Valley Farmer’s Market isn’t going anywhere.

Despite the recent rain and forecasted cooler temperatures, The Market is set to remain outdoors until October.

Manager Dmitri Cody says unless there is a drastic change, the market isn’t moving indoors yet.

“[We’ll be outside]As long as there are things to sell and there will be. There will be plenty of produce and all of the regular crafts, meats, and all that stuff that we normally have will be there,” he says, “so we’ll be there all the way until the end of September, rain or shine.”

The weather is expected to clear up for this weekend, just in time for the first outdoor market in September.

The market does plan to move indoors in October.
