Houston’s Air Quality Advisory Ended

The air quality advisory in Houston has now ended.

The Ministry of Environment, in collaboration with the Northern Health Authority, called the advisory at 9 AM Tuesday because particulate lingered in the cold, still air.

Today’s light winds will pick up the dangerous particulate and whisk it away.

The Ministry of Environment reminds residents that a reduction in outdoor burning and wood-burning stoves will contribute to cleaner local air.
