Telkwa council hopes to make all corners of the Village accessible to everyone.
The Village recently received a grant that will go towards improving the accessibility of local trails and transit.
Mayor Darcy Repen says this is more than a matter of convenience. It’s also about healthy living and being environmentally-friendly.
“We’re trying to move forward with opportunities for people for their physical health and wellbeing to make sure they have the ability to go out and about in town without taking their car,” he says.
