Garnet Boese of Smithers finished in last place with a 1-6 record at the BC senior men’s curling championship in Richmond.
Boese lost his final round robin game today (Friday) 10-1 to Myron Nichol of Castlegar.
Earlier, Boese along with 3rd Ron Vanderstar, 2nd Lyle Hensrud and lead Len Vanderstar lost 7-3 to Craig Lepine of Langley, 5-2 to Bob Ursel of Kelowna, 10-4 to Al Roemer of Delta, 8-4 to Stu Harris of Cloverdale and 10-1 to Doug Marshall of Chilliwack.
The Smithers foursome only victory came against Wes Craig of Victoria 7-6.
Ursel finished first in the round robin with a 6-1 record. Playoffs are this weekend. Seniors play eight end games.
