The Bio Bus is coming to town.
Event organizer, John Howard says the Bio Bus is a team of scientists who are crossing Canada collecting insects for species identification and bio diversity research.
He says the team has been in the Burnt Cabin Bog Ecological Reserve out on Babine Lake Road for about a week collecting specimens.
“As part of their park use permit we asked them to present to the local community their findings and their project. It’s basically an opportunity for the community to get educated on the research that is going on if they are interested in it.”
He says tomorrow night at 7pm the scientists will give a presentation at the Old Church in Smithers for anyone who would like to attend and hear about the project.
