Environmental research for a wind farm near Vanderhoof is ongoing.
Innergex is working to find out if the Nulki Hills area can support a 75 wind turbine project.
Public Affairs Director Bas Brusche says this process could take up to two years.
Brusche says Innergex is also doing a lot of community outreach as it gets the wind farm set up.
He says once completed the turbines could produce enough power for 50,000 houses.
