Tragically Hip’s last show streamed live at Smithers Library

For Tragically Hip fans in the area, there’s a way to catch a bit of the iconic Canadian band’s last show live

The Smithers Library will be testing out their new sound system this Saturday, live streaming the last show of the Hip’s final tour in Kingston Ontario, explains Librarian Wendy Wright.

“We’re going to have it loud enough for people to hear it on the patio and out on the lawn as well.”

They’ll also have a screen projecting the concert inside the Library that can hold just a little over 200 people.

The Hip ARE on their final ‘Man Machine Poem Tour’ after front man Gord Downey was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour.

They’ll be holding it 5;30 p.m. till it’s over, Saturday.
