A 48-year-old Smithers man died at the scene of a single vehicle rollover on Hudson Bay Mountain Rd. near Whistler Rd. last Friday afternoon, according to RCMP.
The second occupant, a 48-year-old Smithers female, was transported to Prince George Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Police say both occupants were ejected from the Chevrolet S10 pick-up after it lost control, travelling off-road and into a ditch rolling multiple times.
Police report neither were wearing seat belts.
The incident is still under investigation.
