BC Graduate students paying $8500 a year in tuition fees

Going back for your graduate degree in British Columbia can be quite costly.

Graduate students are paying the third highest fees in Canada at $8557 per year.

That’s par for the course when it comes to the most expensive programs across Canada. “Tends to be Law, Medicine or Dentistry that are the highest and it’s not just BC it’s all of Canada which is the trend right now.”

Undergraduate students in Dentistry are expected to shell out over $21,000 in tuition fees this year which is the most expensive out of any field of study.

BC ranked 7th out of 10 provinces in undergraduate tuition which came in at $5534.

Undergraduate students in Prince George are paying $5111 a year.
