The RCMP had to deal with a variety of rowdy behavior at the Telkwa BBQ over the long weekend.
Smithers RCMP arrested a total of 8 people for fighting and public intoxication.
Police say most of the incidents were at the rock, country and western concerts on Saturday and Sunday.
They made 4 files of people causing a disturbance, two public intoxication files, one assault and two impaired operation of a motor vehicle files – one including the driver of an ATV who was arrested near the site.
The Village of Telkwa had a total of 15 related files over the long weekend, nine of which occurred at the BBQ.
