The Terry Fox run in Buns Lake was able to raise over 11.5 thousand dollars yesterday.
Coordinator Carla Carlson says over 200 people came out in support.
“I think it just all comes together because we get so much support from every corner of our community. I can’t express my thanks enough for all the generous support that we receive,” says Carlson.
She says progress is being made for cancer research.
“I met Terry Fox before he started his run. He’s a true Canadian hero, and I’m proud to be a part of this organization.”
