The Village of Telkwa will be holding a community town hall next week looking at the villages asset management plan.
It will provide an opportunity for the public to ask questions.
Mayor Darcy Repen has indicated asset management is one of the top priorities with a mostly residential tax base.
“In terms of roads sere, water, bridges…etc…that’s what we (have) to look at,” says Repen. He says the village is strapped for cash for building a new water tower or bridge. That’s why Repen says council is focused on hashing out that asset management plan.
The town hall will be next Wednesday at the Telkwa community hall.
