The GeekFreaks are teaming up with Creative Roots in Smithers to host a hip hop dancing workshop.
Creative Roots owner, Amanda Dorscht says the GeekFreaks are backup dancers from Toronto that have performed for various bands, Much Music and at the Video Awards.
“They are a kind of hip hop dance crew. A group of nine artists that are involved with the GeekFreaks out of Toronto and they take lots of classes and teach lots of hip hop classes in Toronto and are closely tied to Much Music.”
People can still sign up for the dance workshop which starts tonight at 5pm at the Creative Roots studio.
