Campaign to raise legal costs for pipeline battle

The Sierra Club has teamed up with Raven Trust and community groups to help raise money for First Nations to battle Enbridge in court.

The Sierra Club’s Caitlyn Vernon says the financial burden for mall communities to fight the pipeline company is significant and donations are needed.

She says some community groups have already raised about $15,000 and they are hoping to raise approximately $125,000 to start.

People can visit Pull-Together.ca to donate or learn about other ways to raise money.
