The Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako is working out the last details of a transportation plan along the Highway 16 corridor.
Chair Bill Miller says they’re looking to hold one more community to community forum.
“One of the things that we’re working on now is how to set up a governance model so all the players have a place at the table, says Miller.
Miller says with the regional district as the signatory for the transit system, they still need to know which communities will sign memorandums of understanding or choose to opt out.
“There may be some rural areas that opt in or some communities that opt out…there may be some first Nations communities that opt in our out – we’re trying to get that figured out right now.”
He says that will help move forward with final decisions on stop locations and other details.
