Residents in the Chelaslie Arm and Tatelkuz areas have been placed on an evacuation alert.
A fire in the area has prompted the Cariboo Regional District to put in the alert.
The area extends from north of Ootsa Main Forest Service Road and West of Red Road.
It also extends along the north/south boundary between Cariboo Regional District and the Bulkley Nechako Regional District and all properties on Tatelkuz Lake are on alert.
People living in the area need to on the lookout of any potential hazards.
