The monthly job numbers continue to be kind for BC.
Stats Canada Analyst, Andrew Fields says the province continued to lead the way in one category.
“It remained the lowest unemployment rate in Canada at 6.1% and it also had the fastest employment growth rate of all the provinces at 2.1%.”
The jobless in Canada is 6.8%.
In terms of employment, 80,000 people are working in our region which is virtually unchanged from the same time last year.
