Hearings into electoral boundaries are set for Northern BC this week. The BC Electoral Boundaries Commission will be holding the holding the sessions that determine what the voting areas will be in the next election. Spokesperson Don Main says this is done after every two elections.

“The commission will be looking at such issues as communities of interest, population changes, population movement,” says Main, “and any other sort of issues that the public can bring forward.”

Main says people can attend the hearings in person or you can send in your thoughts at www.bc-ebc.ca. Hearings are set for Tuesday in Smithers and Thursday in Prince George.
