The Houston Leisure Facility is now closed for their annual maintenance shutdown.
Receptionist Wendy Van Barneveld says the entire facility is closed this week.
“This time allows the staff to perform maintenance and cleaning that is difficult to perform during regular operation,” she says.
“Sept. 29-Oct.3 the reception and the gym area will be open between 8:30-430. We appreciate your understanding while we clean, scrub, paint, renovate and repair our facility.”
She adds anyone that holds a current membership can inquire at the front desk about getting passes for the BV Pool in Smithers during the closure.
The entire building re-opens on October 6 with regular fall hours.
