The book bus program is wondering if there is anyone in the Hazelton area interested in becoming an adult literacy tutor.
Literacy on Wheels Coordinator, Ruth Cooper says almost anyone can sign up to help teach another adult.
“Most of all, you need to be respectful and supportive of adults that are trying to improve their literacy or numeracy, we get a lot of requests for math tutors,” she says.
Right now, Cooper is trying to drum up enough volunteers to hold a training session.
