The Mayor of Smithers will be runningĀ forĀ re-election.
Taylor Bachrach says he feels there is still more work to do.
“This is a fantastic community and I’ve been so honoured to represent it for the past three years,” he says. “I think we’ve done good work and it has been a very productive term for council. I’d love to do it for another four years.”
Bachrach is most proud to have helped bring in curbside recycling during his term.

The municipal election will be held mid November.
