Phase two of the Fulton Avenue walkway in Smithers is now complete.
Councillor Bill Goodacre says this is a project the town is really happy to finish.
“We had this nice little walkway that we had put in from Main Street to Fulton Avenue a couple of years ago, ” he says. “Now we have extended for another two or three blocks. It is a nice pedestrian area that people out there, on scooters or pushing strollers can cross a good part of town without hitting a lot of traffic.”
A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place tomorrow at 3 p.m. at the corner of Fulton Avenue.
