Grand opening for new multiplex

The new multiplex in Burns Lake will be officially opened tomorrow.
Director of Finance for the village, Bernice Crossman says they are excited to show off the new building.
“There used to be curling rink and ice arena. So now we’ve added the multiplex, which includes a squash court, climbing wall, multi-purpose rooms and a gym. It is quite a bit bigger,” she says.
Crossman adds there will a lot going on tomorrow including a minor hockey tournament, a squash tournament,  and climbing challenges.
Also, there will be a recreation fair so residents can learn about all the options in the community.
A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 11 a.m.
