Highway 16 in Houston will be much safer to drive thanks to some much-needed improvements.
The province announced on Wednesday that several pedestrian and intersection improvements to the Yellowhead.
Nechako Lakes MLA says the $300,000 dollar project will include a sidewalk extension on the south side of the road.
Upgrades are also coming to the Tweedie Avenue intersection.
Work is expected to wrap up by the summer.
