Voting is now open for the community and business awards.
Smithers and District Chamber manager Heather Gallagher says members should have received a ballot via email by now.
“Our members vote for the finalists but prior to that it is a pretty inclusive process, she says. “It is public nominations, everyone can vote for anyone, members and non-members. A selection committee of five members go through the criteria and shortlists it to three.”
Ballots must be sent back by Friday.

The awards ceremony will be held on Nov. 1
