It’s a busy night for local politics in the Bulkley Valley.
Smithers town council meets tonight for the second last time before the election.
Councillors will hear from the Ministry of Forests regarding a proposed wildlife habitat for caribou and also from get an update from the RCMP on current initiatives.
That meeting starts at 7:30 in council chambers.
Also tonight, Telkwa council hopefuls will debate.
The all candidates forum starts at 7 pm at the community hall.
Houston residents will also have a chance to hear from their candidates tonight as well.
