The Wetzin’kwa Community Forest is looking for a new director.
General Manager Bill Golding says they are looking for a volunteer to help the corporation seek operational opportunities that are a benefit to recreational groups in the area.
He adds the community forest has distributed well over $750,000 to projects between Moricetown and Telkwa in the past six years.
“The biggest requirement of the director is to participate in the grant program,” he says. “That is a review of all the applications and awarding of grant dollars.”
There will be an annual general meeting tomorrow that people can check out if they want more information.
It will be held at the Telkwa Christian Reformed Church from 7-8 p.m.
