Burns Lake Rotary Auction numbers are in……..

The results are in from this week’s Burns Lake Rotary Auction.
Past president Sandy Dore says more than $36,000 came in.
“It is more money raised than last year,” she says. “The highest we ever raised was $42,000 in 2006, then we dropped after that but we are increasing every year after that again.”
Dore says all the money raised goes to the local rotary club which supports local initiatives as well as international ones.
People who won items can pick them up and pay for them tomorrow at the Heritage Centre. Items that aren’t picked up by next week will go to the second highest bidder.
