The Smithers Rotary Auction continues tonight.
Club President Jim Butler says they are hoping to raise more than $35,000.
“Half of the proceeds from this auction will go to the skateboard expansion project that they are hoping to break ground on in the spring of next year,” he says. “It is a fantastic project and then the rest of it will go into general revenue.”
Some of the big ticket items up for auction tonight include a trip to Hawaii, a Canucks package and a night’s stay at Bear Claw Lodge.
The auction will be live on MOOSE FM starting at 6 pm or people can check it out in person at Hudson Bay Lodge.
