Flu season has yet to hit the Bulkley Valley.
Public health nurse Martha Murray says it has been a slow year so far.
“We’ve only had one flu report last month,” she says. “And we haven’t had any flu outbreaks at any facility or school at this point.”
Murray says at least 600 people in Smithers have gotten their flu shot.
She still recommends those who haven’t gotten it yet to do so.
