An arts and craft supply store in Burns Lake has been nominated for the Premier’s People’s Choice Award.
This award celebrates BC’s entrepreneurs by recognizing a small business that is the heart of their community.
Yarn and Sew On owner Linda Uchacz is very excited to be noticed.
“I think it is an excellent promotional opportunity for all small businesses in B.C. and it is based on per capita so even though we are in a small community, Yarn and Sew On has just the same chances as winning as any other community,” she says.
The BC Small Business Awards will be handed out in February in Vancouver.
