Ignite the North is touring the Bulkey Valley and Lakes District.
The event is broken into two parts, the first will be a workshop at a local high-school during the day and the second part is a town hall meeting in the evening. Project lead Shauna Harper says this is about sparking a conversation to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs.
“Innovation happens when there are diverse people sharing their thoughts,” she says. “We have invited people from all different sectors to come together and collaborate on what is best for their communities.”
The workshop will be held in Burns Lake tomorrow, Houston Wednesday and Smithers on Thursday. The events are free but organizers are asking people to pre-register at ignitethenorth.com
