Tomorrow's brown bag lunch to discuss stress

The Smithers Health Committee is presenting their third health talk of the season tomorrow.
Volunteer with the Health Hub Mickey Brandvould says this lunch time discussion will feature a local chiropractor that will explain how stress can affect the body.
“When the body is under stress it produces hormones that have a very specific effect on the body that isn’t good. When the body is under stress it doesn’t move naturally and those new movements could become part of the muscle memory,” she says.
The talk is free and people are encouraged to bring their lunch.
It starts at noon. The next talk will be in January about gluten free diets.
