Roads in the Bulkley Valley and Lakes District are extremely slippery today.
Drive BC is reporting compact snow and slippery sections all along Highway 16 and Highway 118.
A travel advisory is also in place for Highway 37 and driving along that road is not recommended unless absolutely necessary.
Billabong Road Maintenance has also put out a warning to drivers in Smithers that the rain has caused icy roads, especially on rural and gravel streets.
Drivers are urged to exercise extreme caution.
