The newly elected Telkwa council will be sworn in tonight and there will be lots of new faces around the table.
The mayor-elect Darcy Repen will take the oath of office, along with the four councillors.
Three of them are new and only one incumbent made it back in.
The regular meeting of council will start afterwards with several changes proposed including opening up the public comment period in meetings and to a procedure by-law to allow for video recordings of public meetings.
Committee appointments will also be made tonight.
The meeting starts at 7 pm in council chambers on Hankin Avenue.
