A local flower shop in Houston has been announced as a semi-finalist for the 2014 Small Business BC Awards.
Blooming Arrangements is one of 10 businesses up for the Premier’s People’s Choice Award.
This category celebrates BC’s entrepreneurs by recognizing a small business that is at the heart of their community.
Shop Owner Lorinda Vanderheide says this is great exposure for her business and for the community.
“It feels amazing, I can’t even believe it,” she says. “It is such an honour.”
The Top 5 finalists will be announced on January 30 and then invited to give a Dragons Den-

The awards will be handed on February 26, 2015 in Vancouver
