The Salvation Army’s kettle campaign wraps up this weekend.
Spokesperson Rick Apperson says it looks like they will hit their goal of $36,000
“It has gone really well this year,” he says. “We’ve had some amazing food drives and kettle volunteers. It looks like we are going to hit and go over our target this year.”
He adds all the money raised stays in the Bulkley Valley.
Kettles will still be set up outside the grocery stores in Smithers and Houston until tomorrow evening.
