The North District Major Crimes Unit has assumed conduct of an investigation involving a Northern B.C. man.
Lloyd Sword has been reported missing since August, but has not been heard from since July.
The investigation conducted by Prince George RCMP determined Sword had met with foul play.
Investigators have determined Sword was wearing a zip-up style black jacket, blue jeans, a dark grey T-shirt, and running shoes at the time of his disappearance.
With the current and upcoming hunting seasons, investigators expect traffic in remote areas will increase.
They ask that persons in the areas be vigilant in looking for clothing possibly associated to Sword.
