Burns Lake has hired a new Director of Finance.
Susan Meeds is making her way to the village from Burton and was the director of finance for the village of Nakusp for eight years.
The Canadian Union of Public Employees and the Chief Administration Officer were involved in the hiring process
In a statement, Mayor Chris Beach welcomed Meeds as an asset to the Burns Lake team.
