Tomorrow is one of the busiest nights for cab companies and it is no different for the only taxi service in the Bulkley Valley.
Joyce of BV Taxi says they typically give around two thousand rides every New Year’s Eve with her fleet of four.
“Phone way ahead of when you want a cab because there is a guarantee of a wait time after 9 p.m. on New Year’s Eve,” she says.
She says they don’t take reservations and warns people to dress warmly for the wait.
Also, for those going to either Boston Pizza or the Kinsmen Party in Telkwa, there will be DD services with donations to different charities.
