One man has been arrested in connection with an alleged shooting, according to New Hazelton RCMP.
Police were notified by medical personnel on Saturday that a person was being treated for suspicious gunshot wounds.
Police say 60-year-old Ronald Fowler has been charged with attempted murder and possession of a dangerous weapon.
Both of the people involved in the incident know each other, according to police.
Fowler remains in custody until his next court appearance.
Police are continuing to investigate and are looking to the public for more information.
