2014 was a good year for the real estate market in Smithers.
BC Northern Real Estate Board Director DJ Mio says 266 properties changed hands last year and that’s up from 257 in 2013.
“It was once again a strong year,” he says. “Our numbers fell very close to last year’s and overall we have a really steady and solid market.”
Houston and Burns Lake also saw more homes sell in 2014 than in 2013.
