The Gitxsan Development Corporation has acquired a traffic control operation.
A press release from the GDC says the strategic acquisition of D&R Traffic Control Limited provides a platform for the Gitxsan Safety Services’ entry into the traffic control business and further bolsters its established safety operation.
GDC President and CEO Rick Connors says this is a natural progression to their existing safety services business.
“It was really a good fit for GSS to look at a company like D&R who has been around 35 years,” he says. “Diane Bell is the owner and founder of D&R and she has created a great little entity.”
Bell will continue to grow the company’ s business as part of the transaction.
