Skiers and boarders have been taking advantage of all the snow that has been falling lately.
Hudson Bay Mountain hill and trail manager Frank McBride says it has been busy up on the hill since getting about 40 cm of fresh powder this week.
“Our packing lot was packed,” he says. “Our lodge was crazy. We actually had a line-up, we don’t normally have line-ups on Thursdays. The line-up went from the t-bar all the way to the rental shop.”
Even though there is no new snow forecasted for this weekend, McBride says their two snow cats will be working hard to turn the snow into freshly groomed snow for tomorrow and Sunday.
